Robaxin is a muscle weakening. It works by blocking nerve impulses or pain sensations that are sent to your brain. It is used together with rest and physical therapy.
Directions
Use it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take the medicine in 2 tablets QID and than You need to reduce your dosage to 1 tablet TID. Unappropriate for children. Consult with your doctor for medical advice.
Precautions
Robaxin may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert. Drinking alcohol can increase certain side effects of Robaxin. Also it can cause giddy.
Сontraindication
You should not use Robaxin if you are allergic to methocarbamol or have myasthenia.
Possible side effects
Get emergency if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction, flu symptoms, slow heart rate, giddy, convulsions, jaundice, retching, memory problems, insomnia. Common side effects are: dizziness, drowsiness; vomiting; blurred vision; fever; headache.
Drug interactions
Be careful using this medicine if you have myasthenia.
Overdose
Symptoms may be somnolence, sickness, blurred vision, giddiness. The overdose can be fatal.
Missed dose
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. Skip the missed dose if it is time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
Storage
Store your medicines at room temperature 20-25 C (68-77 F).
